Christ's Glorious Church

How beautiful is the church without spot and wrinkle. Everything that God creates is always good or perfect and the church is no exception. God in His Wisdom formed the church and deposited His gift on earth. Apart from God’s only Son the Lord Jesus Christ, the church is the greatest gift of Grace given to man. The church is more precious than silver and gold, and arises as a pinnacle of God’s glory in the midst of His Creation.

The Church of Christ is silently built by God Himself, without ingenuity and efforts of man. Grace is the mantel worn by every sinner that enters God’s sanctuary. The arrogance of man is not permitted in the assembly of the redeemed. God’s call to unite with His object of divine love is extended to every race throughout the whole world. The invitation is based on eternal grace and love without recognition of social, intellectual, or religious standing. Faith in God’s redeeming sacrifice opens the door into Christ’s glorious church. Abundant blessings and spiritual riches are presented to each saint as they become a part of God’s holy temple. The multi-faceted jewel radiates a prism of God’s eternal light but remains one diadem of greatness in its existence. By divine decree the church is indestructible while Christ and His followers are attached in an inseparable union.

The church exists under the divine Authority and is maintained by the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit and the inspired Word of God. The ministry of the saints within the church and to a perverse generation arises out of Christ’s love. Sacrificial love within the church repudiates the selfish, pleasure-loving behavior of lost sinners. Man’s entrance into God’s Cathedral of divine presence is limited to those immersed in the Truth by the third person of the Trinity. The existence and usefulness of Christ’s body radiates God’s omnipotent power. The spiritual leadership of the called out membership is directed by gifted men under the chief Shepherd who sacrificed His life for the purchase of His beloved bride. The spiritual ministry within the assembly of the righteous provides encouragement, growth, and maturity according to God’s bestowment of grace upon the membership.

The body is united under the mandate of individual importance. Although Christ’s body is one, many members function in harmony with purpose under divine placement. The growth and forward advancement of Christ’s mighty army is blessed with Christ’s conquest and the Saint’s sacrifice and service.

The pattern of behavior within the heart of the Saints is love. Love leads the people of God in worship, service, fellowship, mission, and brotherly relationships. The beauty and grandeur of God’s chosen vessel glitters on the canvas of revelation. The Ancient of Days has portrayed the glorious church as the Shepherd and the sheep, the Vine and the branches, the High Priest and the priesthood, the Bridegroom and the bride, the Chief Cornerstone and the building of the new men. The art gallery of the Redeemer sets forth God’s handy work and His divine grace.

Often during the darkest of night the gates of Hell are heard clanging against Christ’s unmovable church. Hearsay, personal conflicts, immortality, disrespect for church leadership, division, worldliness, lukewarmness, unfaithfulness, and blindness have all aligned themselves with the assertiveness of Satan and his demons but to no avail.

The end of the church age is anticipated. The invitation to “come up hither” awaits the ears of the faithful saints. The promise of the ascended Christ to come and quickly remove His glorious church causes the heart of the His people to cry out “even so come, Lord Jesus.”
